PRIVACY POLICY

In this policy, we (“Padmaster”, “we”, “us”, “our”) want to notify you, the user (“You”) about how we collect and process your personal data while you use our iOS and/or Android mobile application Padmaster (the “Application”, “App”, “Service”), including data, related media, and services made available via the application, in this policy.

Although You cannot create a user account to use the App, we can still collect and process information about You for the purpose of monitoring and improving the App.

In the event that we update our privacy policy in the future, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted on this page. We advise You to check this page occasionally to inform Yourself of such changes. By continuing to use the Application after such changes have been posted on this page, You agree to the updates made to this Privacy Policy.

What kind of data do we collect and process?

Although Padmaster does not have a user account feature, we still may collect information such as Your name and email address in the event that you provide this information via email or by other means to obtain customer support from us, as a result of a communication that is initiated by You (“Support Data”).

When you use the App, we automatically collect and process data such as your IP address, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, device state information, and your device's physical location (“Automatically Generated Data”). This type of data does not identify You and is specifically listed below:

  1. Usage information: information regarding the use of the App, such as which features are being used, which functions have been activated, the time being spent on a specific section of the App, whether the user has a subscription when using the App’s specific features, which Sound Packs are viewed or purchased by the user, which audio samples are grouped together by the user using the “Premade” function within the App and how many times the user has used the share function within the App to share their creations
  2. Cookies: a type of anonymous automatically generated data that includes information such as device hardware/OS information and device state information.
  3. Protective data: information regarding the resetting of the local storage of the app
  4. Advertisement data: data collected as a result of the App using the advertising service Google Admob and how much time the user spends watching the ads provided within the App

For what purposes do we collect and process your personal data?

We use the Support Data you provide to respond to your queries, provide customer support, and for other related purposes. Unless you provide us with the Support Data, we will be unable to respond to your requests. Our legitimate interest in responding to your requests is the legal basis for our collection of Support Data.

Usage information is collected and processed to monitor, maintain and improve the App and enhance Your user experience while using the App. We also collect this data to perform research and analysis about Your use of, or interest in, our products, services and content, for analytics purposes.

Cookies are a small amount of data that is stored on your device and serves as an anonymous identifier. This data is collected for analytics purposes.

Protective data is collected to ensure that the App is being used as intended and to ensure that no illegal or undesirable user behavior is performed while using the App.

Padmaster uses Google Admob, which is a service that delivers to You third parties’ ads based on Your interests. As a result of that, the App collects advertisement data. This function is activated by default in all countries except for the countries that are in the EU region. For EU countries, targeted ads will only be available if You choose to give consent. Advertisement Data is also collected in order for us to detect whether the ads within the App are being viewed all the way through or exited, which provides us with information to enhance the user experience of the App for the user.
